Process: New Car Protection + Xpel Ultimate Clear Bra
With a zero-to-scary time of only 3.4 seconds, this biturbo family super-car will greatly benefit from the protection offered in our new car services. The interior seat and dash surfaces were conditioned for UV resistance and carpets coated with fabric guard to repel stains. The exterior was cleaned, polished and permanently sealed with OptiCoat PRO. Xpel clear bra paint protection film was applied to the bumper, hood, mirrors, fenders and lower rockers to protect the paint from rock chips and bug impacts.
Above: Clay barring is a critical part of proper detailing. Sediment from shipping and transport, or in this owner's case, overspray from plasti-dip, gets embedded into the clearcoat. The clay bar removes that contamination and leaves the paint feeling smooth to the touch.
Below: Machine polishing the car to achieve the brightest luster and remove any dealer-installed swirls.
Above: Fitting the clear bra to the hood, these little tabs allow us to wrap the bra around the panel lips, making a seamless fit.
Below: Edges wrapped on the hood.
Above: Applying paint protection film to the lower rockers.
Below: Opti-Coat PRO was sprayed on the entire vehicle and inside/out of the summer wheels while they were off the vehicle.
Above: Xpel Ultimate paint protection film clear bra protects the leading edge of the vehicle.
Below: Many kits include these great guards to protect the door handle cup from being clawed by finger nails.
